Cinelli Wins Best City Bike of the Year

Cinelli is proud to be, once again, on the podium of the most prestigious contest in the Italian cycling world, "Bike of the Year" organized by Ciclismo magazine.

First prize for Best City Bike went to the Cinelli Gazzetta. Available in 4 eye catching colors the Gazzetta is a steel bike with classic track geometry designed for street use. In its second year of production, the Gazetta has proven itself both fast and reactive and reliable.

Ride the Rockies

Each year during Ride The Rockies, numerous manufacturers travel with the tour demo-ing their products. Participants can test-ride products ranging from Continental tires to DT-Swiss wheels. This year Cinelli is proud to join the 6 day, 412 mile event.

Oh... and enter the 3rd Annual RTR Silent Auction, and you could be the lucky one to take home a sweet Cinelli Willin' SL frameset (pictured below). Proceeds from the auction go to support programs sponsored by Denver Post's community outreach.

BIKERUMOR: New Saetta 'Rocks it Hard'

Tyler over at BikeRumor.com gave the new Saetta a spin on Monday:

Available in two models, the higher end Saetta Sprint and the regular Saetta (tested), they’re meant to be a mid-level, full carbon road bike for any type of riding. Of course, being Italian and being a Cinelli, they’re completely race worthy, and based on my time with it, the Saetta would hold its own on any club ride.

BICYCLING's Cinelli Strato Cover Story

Another treat for Cinelli fans:

Our top of the line carbon fiber Strato graces the cover of this month's issue of Bicycling magazine. The review calls the Strato "Scary Fast" and  "Forget it: if you're a noodler; this machine is for burying the pin."

Cinelli's serious roadie side hasn't enjoyed this kind of mainstream press in the US in a long time. We're positively tickled. We encourage you to run out and purchase the issue, which is on newstands now.

Stuck on the couch waiting for this interminable heat wave to pass? No worries. Read on for the full review:
